All the time prime from Pentax
Today Pentax has announced a DA 35mm f2.4. We take of fair number of cheap shots at the big boys like Canon and Nikon for their lack of commitment to affordable crop sensor primes. Pentax has always had a strong commitment to fixed focal lenses and for that we applaud them. While not a f1.8 like other lenses in its price point it provides an affordable segue for the everyday shooter to experience the advantages of using prime lenses. Full specs follow.
