PTC has seen the light!

The weekend has come and gone again but something about this one was different.  Dr Dragon and I set out on our normal street shooting adventure when we encountered something we hadn’t planned for.  Needless to say we will be forever changes by this experience.  What kind of event could be so epic?  If you’d like to find out keep reading.

It all started on Sunday afternoon.  We jumped the train to head into the city and hopefully get some candid shots along the way.  It was about ninety degrees and humid outside so the air-conditioned train felt great.  Unfortunately the people riding were pretty boring.  Not very inspirational to say the least.  A coin toss determined we would get off at the midtown stop.  The streets were teeming with people and plenty of them were worth photographing but I was being drawn in a different direction.  We kept traveling west and spotted a small church.  At that point the light was not great but the church had some character so we stopped to burn a few frames.  Clouds passed in front of the sun creating a sort of “heavenly” light and then it happened.  God spoke to us.

Gods message

You can see in the crop of the church image that Gods message is pretty clear.  The Creator gave us free will but didn’t intend for us to use shitty zoom lenses.  Remember the next time you use a zoom because its “more convenient” or “just as good” that it will cost you your eternal soul.  PTC is now more devoted than ever to get you to stop.  It’s not just about great images or photographic technique.  It’s about an eternity in hell and PTC doesn’t wish that on anybody.

    can I get an amen?!

that’s a great frame btw. first impressions would be to lighten up the church facade and sun so there’s some more depth in the image.
